S1 E5 | When You Have Mental Health Challenges
In this episode, I discuss the “lemons” that spiraled into my mental health challenges and eventual attempt at taking my own life freshman year of college. I share how I was able to use this experience to empower others to step into their power and own their story. I also provide risk factors and warning signs for suicide as well as tips on how to show up with courage and vulnerability when someone is in crisis.
If you or someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts, help is out there. Contact the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255 or text “HOME” to 741741. You are not alone and I’m so happy you’re here.
